My story floored me. Feeling perfectly fine, I ran in for a quick test to see if I was running around with pneumonia only to discover my breast cancer had returned after 28 1/2 years.

With my life in turmoil and in disbelief over my diagnosis, I was fortunate enough to receive my care from Dr. Kathy Weilbaecher and her fantastic team at Siteman, and due to that care I feel great and am going on with my life. Being, for the most part, a positive person, and with the help of my family and friends, I make every day worthwhile and cherish the support I receive.

Twenty-eight years ago I vowed to fight this disease, and it is my passion to help to find the cures in some small way. I have been fortunate enough to have the support of Dr. Eberlein throughout this mission, and also to be part of the Sing for Siteman Committee team. It is an honor and a privilege!
